Benton County and Rogers Revenue Office relocation

September 8, 2023

The Benton County Offices for the Assessor, Collector, Election Commission, and the Rogers location for the Arkansas State Revenue Office are scheduled to move locations on September 25, 2023. Temporary closures will be required to complete the transition. The moves are as follows: On September 27, 2023, the Community Risk Reduction and Planning Departments are scheduled to move locations. Both departments will move to the Administration Building located at 215 E Central Ave, Bentonville, AR 72712. Northwest Arkansas Veterans Coalition Community Cleanup

September 7, 2023

The public is invited to a free cookout and community cleanup event hosted by the Northwest Arkansas Veterans Coalition and Benton County Veteran Service Office. The Community Cleanup will be held at Memorial Park in Bentonville from 9 a.m. – 11 a.m. on Saturday, September 30th. A free cookout will follow from 11 a.m. – 12 p.m. with burgers, hot dogs, drinks, and all the fixings. Interested participants are asked to meet at the Veterans Wall Memorial at 8 a.m. on Saturday, September 30th. Volunteers are asked to wear comfortable shoes and clothing for the cleanup event. Litter grabbers, gloves, and bags will be provided. Participants are asked to bring a canned or dried food item to donate to the Veterans Health Care Systems of the Ozarks Micro Food Pantry. County Circuit Clerk Invites the Public to Passport Saturday

The Benton County Circuit Clerk’s office will host its fourth Passport Saturday event from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. on Saturday, September 23rd. People in need of a new United States passport can visit the Downtown Bentonville office located at 215 E Central Avenue to complete an application. The Circuit Clerk’s Office is on the 2nd floor of the Administration Building in Suite 202.  No appointment is necessary. All forms must be completed beforehand. Required documents and correct payment for service fees must be in hand when you arrive to the Circuit Clerk’s Office. Please contact the Circuit Clerk Recorder’s Office with questions: 479-271-1017. War Eagle Bridge to temporarily close for repairs

March 28, 2023

The Benton County Road Department will temporarily close the War Eagle Mill Bridge to repair timber runners. The bridge will be closed from 7am – 3:30pm daily from Wednesday, April 5th – Friday, April 7th. Travelers in the area will need to detour south or north of the bridge during construction. Drivers can take the southern detour from High Sky Inn Road to 303 to Highway 412 in Washington County. Drivers can also take the northern detour from War Eagle Rd to Highway 12. All construction is pending weather or other delays. Please heed all signage in the area.

Pafford Medical Services begins emergency medical service to Benton County and Western Benton County cities

Pafford Medical Services began its contract with Benton County, Cave Springs, Decatur, Gentry, and Highfill on Friday, January 27, 2023. Pafford Medical Services has begun its four-year contract with Benton County and four cities — Cave Springs, Decatur, Gentry and Highfill — to provide Emergency Medical Services (EMS) to much of the western portion of the county. The agreement calls for at least three ambulances to be on duty at all times.  Additionally, the financial terms of the agreement provide for coverage of out-of-pocket costs for emergency ambulance service. Medicare, Medicaid and third-party insurers would continue to be billed for service.
