Benton County Second Pass

As of Tuesday, August 6th, approximately 536,075 cubic yards of vegetative debris have been picked up in unincorporated Benton County. Benton County will begin the second pass of debris pickup in unincorporated areas on August 18th. Looks Great Services will begin the second pass on the west side of Benton County, where crews began the initial pickup. Each address, there have at least 10 days between the first and second passes. This will allow residents whose debris was just picked up time to place more debris by the roadside. We appreciate residents putting debris near the roadside as soon as possible. This will ensure your storm debris is picked up. There is no need to contact the County to schedule a pickup. FEMA has opened a Mobile Unit in Decatur and a Disaster Recovery Center at NWACC to help people apply for disaster assistance. Representatives can answer questions about what kind of assistance you may qualify for from FEMA. Individual assistance helps those who are uninsured or underinsured. relief.bentoncountyar.gov bentoncountyrelieffund.com New Update- Benton County Relief Fund The Benton County Relief Fund, a partnership for Benton County cities and residents, announced that it is providing short-term financial assistance to Benton County households impacted by the devastating storms of May 26, 2024. The Fund will also support local nonprofit service providers for their disaster responses for Benton County and all affected communities therein. Households that live in Benton County, were directly impacted by the May 26th storms, and make $125,000 or less annually are eligible for the Fund. Residents will also receive customized resource plans that will connect them to as many resources as possible to ensure that their needs are met. FEMA and the U.S. Small Business Administration are accepting applications for federal disaster funds.   relief.bentoncountyar.gov New Update- National Guard Extension The National Guard Mission for Benton County has been extended through Friday, June 21. Guardsmen will help with traffic control at the three Benton County Debris Drop Sites. New Update- County Assessor and Collector         The servers for the Benton County Assessor and Collector are now operational. Online services have resumed for personal property and business assessments. Payments can be made to the Collector for personal property taxes. Due to storm damage, the Benton County Rogers Office will remain closed until further notice. The Bentonville, Gravette, and Siloam Springs Satellite Offices are now open. Governor Sarah Sanders signed an executive order allowing Benton County and other storm-affected counties to suspend the 10% penalties for a late personal property or business assessment until June 30, 2024. At the center, people can apply for low-interest federal disaster loans.
