Benton County Fire Marshal’s Office

The Benton County Fire Marshal’s Office protects our citizens, visitors and their property by informing citizens of controlled burning laws along with weather and fire dangers, including the burn ban status, before commencing in any fire related activities. The Fire Marshal also maintains the online notification system for fires, explosive incidents, and hazardous conditions.

    It is a violation of State Law to openly burn any item not specifically exempted. Notify the county BEFORE burning. For a burn permit, please call 479-273-5530.
