Planning Board of Appeals
The Planning Board of Appeals presides over the Planning and Development Regulations of Benton County.
Planning Board of Appeals meetings are open to the public. Voting is proposal-specific within each meeting.
Proposals considered by the Board of Appeals have previously been considered by the Planning Board, were denied approval, and the applicant has appealed the decision. Proposals that have been approved by the Planning Board cannot be considered by the Board of Appeals.
The agenda and proposal files are made public the Friday afternoon before each meeting on the Benton County calendar.
Board of Appeals Members
Members are appointed by the County Judge and confirmed by the Quorum Court.
Terms last four years, serving no more than two consecutive terms.
