County Clerk’s Office
The County Clerk serves as the official Voter Registrar of the county, and is responsible for issuing Marriage Licenses and Doing Business Under Assumed Name certificates, as well as recording Minister’s Credentials, incorporation documents issued by the Arkansas Secretary of State, and county court documents. The County Clerk also serves as secretariat to the Quorum Court — the county’s legislative body. Duties include attending all meetings of the quorum court, scheduling of meetings, and preparing reports of the proceedings. The Probate Division of the Circuit Court is also under the authority of the County Clerk.
