Only the Coroner, Administrative Assistant, and Deputy Coroners are full time employees, while the other two staff members are paid per call. We work a 24 hour on-shift schedule. The background of our staff includes CNA (retd.); hospice RN; fire chief/paramedic; law enforcement; ambulance staff and current fire chief; nurse practitioner and PHD forensic RN. We have put in many hundreds of training hours and investigated thousands of deaths to add to our knowledge and skill. We, as the County Coroner’s Office, strive to show the most professionalism, compassion, and promptness. Our staff is committed to helping the grieving families that come into contact with our office, to give them the care, concern and consideration that they deserve. We offer our sincere condolences to all that have experienced the death of a loved one.

    If the death occurred in a home, both an officer and coroner will be sent to the residence.
