County Clerk Accepting Resumes for Benton County Board of Equalization

Three positions are available on the Benton County Board of Equalization.

The Benton County Clerk’s office is currently accepting résumés for three positions available on the Benton County Board of Equalization.   The three (3) year terms for these positions begin August 3, 2020 and expire June 5, 2023. Compensation for service is $125 per meeting day attended, plus mileage. 

Qualified applicants shall be real estate owners of Benton County for at least one year, familiar with property values in Benton County and be a qualified elector. Letters of application or résumés of all interested and qualified persons should be mailed to the Benton County Clerk at 215 East Central Avenue, Suite 217, Bentonville, AR. 72712 or emailed to countyclerk@bentoncountyar.gov on or before April 30th, 2020.

The Board of Equalization is a nine (9) member board that meets on a daily basis (8 hours per day) beginning August 3rd, 2020 through October 1st, 2020 for the purpose of equalizing the assessed value of all property assessed and subject to taxation.
