Assessment Appeals
The Board of Equalization (BOE) meets for formal appeals August 1st through October 1st. Property Owners must call to schedule a formal appeal beginning the third Monday in July (July 15, 2024) and no later than the third Monday in August (August 19, 2024). Only current year assessments may be appealed.
An assessment appeal may be filed for real estate, personal property or both.
Informal Review with a County Appraiser
The first step in the appeals process is to call our office at 479-271-1037 and ask to speak with a County appraiser for an informal property review.
Formal Appeal with the Board of Equalization (BOE)
If the County appraiser is unable to resolve your valuation issues, you may schedule an appointment for a formal hearing with the Board of Equalization. The County appraiser will assist with information to schedule a formal hearing.
